We at mobilityreviews.boards.net want every customer to have a safe secure and pleasant experience when buying online, please take a few minutes to carefully read through the information in this short thread to hopefully help you enjoy such an experience and avoid any pitfalls of online buying. The internet can be a great place to pick yourself up a bargain however we urge any perspective customers to research the online seller they are purchasing from. There are some fly by night seller's and here today gone tomorrow company's. Always ask questions about the aftercare you will receive, it has been known that some seller's sell the scooters Boxed so assembling the scooter is the duty of the buyer, this is not such an issue with travel/boot scooters but most larger scooters do require some expert knowledge to get them up and running. Some company's warranties only include the Parts and the customer may have to pay for Labor costs to get the scooter fixed. The customer may also be required to pay postage costs to return the scooter to the seller to have any checks or work carried out. We have also heard of a few company's requiring you to keep all packaging from you're scooter if you wish to return it for repairs. If you purchase a scooter from EbayUK please be aware that regardless of what warranty to product is covered by, after 3 months of the date of sale EbayUK will not enforce the seller to honor they're warranties so if the seller decides to not offer after care after this period there is nothing that can be done to help the customer, other than involving Law Enforcement Authorities which may or may not be successful.
